In this position, Mr. Polega is responsible for all U.S. sales and marketing of Sharp's solar energy products and solutions. Mr. Polega reports to Mr. Toshiyuki Osawa, chairman and CEO of Sharp Electronics Corporation.
Mr. Polega is a solar and renewable energy industry veteran with a highly successful track record in solar project development. Most recently, Mr. Polega served as director of Sharp's Solar Energy Solutions Group where he led projects and structured joint ventures with developers to finance and build utility scale solar farms. Before joining SESG, Mr. Polega was vice president of engineering & construction for Inovateus Solar, where he evaluated PV technologies and solar installation strategies.
