India: Only 67.25 MW of PV added in last quarter

Bridge to India has released its October edition of the India Solar Compass. The report finds that between July and September there has been a drastic drop in PV capacity addition compared to prior quarters. China: GCL-Poly to supply modules for 310 MW plant

Government approval has been secured for the planned 310 MW solar plant in Datong, Shanxi province, China, and production will start from fourth quarter onwards with the facility fully operational in the first half of 2013, according to the executive president of GCL-Poly, Shu Hua.
