JinkoSolar moves into France
Chinese manufacturer JinkoSolar has announced that it will open a French subsidiary. The new office will be located in Montpellier, which the company describes as being in Frances “sun belt”.
Schott Solar halts wafer manufacture

Isofoton to commercialize Ferrolinera EV charging system

India: Solar developers in Gujarat get extension
Solar developers in Gujarat with projects under construction have been given a month’s extension to complete their plants without losing their preferential payment rates. The deadline has been extended to January 28, 2012.

India: Commissioning of 40 MW project in India
Adani Group has announced today that it has commissioned a 40 MW solar power project in the Kutch District in Gujarat. This is the largest to date in India.
