SETA, short for Sustainable Energy Technology Asia, is the premier energy trade show of the year! that has been held for 7 consecutive years. It focuses on showcasing innovative technologies and solutions that are crucial for building a smart energy future and facilitating energy transition. The energy industry faces a significant challenge in reducing carbon dioxide emissions from power generation. In recent years, renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power have gained popularity globally. These technologies allow us to generate electricity without emitting harmful gases, paving the way towards a cleaner and greener energy future. This event is specifically designed for professionals from the renewable and smart energy industries, and it presents the latest equipment, systems, and technology for smart energy management.
In the context of the transition to a low-carbon economy, solar energy is currently the fastest-growing source. An emerging application, Agri PV, provides synergy between photovoltaic technology and agriculture, with beneficial effects for both. Rio Grande do Sul has the third-largest installed base of photovoltaic generation and is the third-largest grain producer in the country.
The event will feature sessions and roundtables, with the presence of authorities and invited specialists, enabling interaction and debates with the audience.
The summit’s mission is to provide in-depth education, enable high-quality networking opportunities, expand the use of PV technologies at the regional and national levels, strengthen the local PV industry, and demonstrate the potential of the combination of PV and electrical energy storage for the agricultural sector and off-grid solutions.
Organizers: Intersolar Summit Brasil Sul is organised by Aranda Eventos & Congressos Ltda, São Paulo, with co-organizers Solar Promotion International GmbH, Pforzheim, as well as Freiburg Management and Marketing International GmbH, Freiburg.
The Solar World Congress (SWC) is the official congress of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), held every two years since 1970. It is the world’s leading event for scientific and technological dissemination in the field of solar energy conversion technologies, including other renewable energy sources. The congress gathers professors, researchers, students, public managers, company representatives, and other professionals in this field.
The SWC 2025 will take place in Fortaleza, Brazil, from 04 to 07 November at the Gran Mareiro Hotel, located on Praia do Futuro. It is promoted by the Brazilian section of ISES, the Brazilian Solar Energy Association (ABENS). The congress will feature scientific and technological contributions, keynote speeches by international experts, roundtable discussions on current topics, exhibition, technical visits, parallel events on related themes, and cultural programming.
SWC 2025 in advance of COP30 in Brazil
SWC 2025 will take place at a crucial time for global discussions on the advancement of renewable energy as COP30 will take place in Belem, Brazil only a few days after SWC 2025 closes.
SWC 2025 will be of great importance as a platform to showcase the latest developments in solar and renewable energy research and development, policies driving the renewable energy transformation and more setting the stage for COP30.

Agrivoltaics represents a vital step forward in the global clean energy transition, poised to play a crucial role in achieving the ambitious clean energy targets set by regions such as Germany and California.
Germany brings sophisticated solar technology and insights from established projects, while California offers extensive agricultural landscapes and a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. Enhanced transatlantic collaboration and best-practice-sharing will accelerate the sustainable growth of the Agrivoltaics sector.
Leveraging the significant successes of previous conferences, we are again set to host California's leading platform for Agrivoltaics. This event aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, unite key stakeholders, and enhance collaborations that will position Agrivoltaics as the central pillar for sustainable farming in the future.
During both #CGAV23 and #CGAV24, 200+ attendees engaged in discussions on various topics with 30+ expert speakers. The forthcoming #CGAV25 aims to explore these topics further and enhance the experience with a field trip, offering attendees first-hand examples of agrivoltaics in action for a thorough understanding. The goal is to strengthen German-American partnerships, advancing the rapidly growing agrivoltaics market and solidifying agrivoltaics as a sustainable farming solution for the future.Agrivoltaics is the next frontier for the clean energy transition and will be pivotal in reaching ambitious clean energy goals in Germany and California.
The California Germany Agrivoltaics Conference was created to strengthen transatlantic collaboration in this important sector, promote idea exchanges, and create an ecosystem from which all players involved can benefit. The goal is to build strong German-American partnerships that will lead this growing market of agrivoltaics.
This conference is a joint initiative of the co-organizers Representative of German Business (GACC West), UC Davis, and Sunzaun, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection.
