A Bucharest logistics center will house a 2.2 MW system comprised of almost 9,000 Solon 220/16 modules which are set to be installed in just seven weeks.
US adds 976 MW in second quarter

A 44 GW solar pipeline means the U.S. will supply 20% of global solar demand up to 2018, according to NPD Solarbuzz. The solar consultancy says California installed a state record 521 MW of PV from April to June.

SolarWorld supplies largest solar project in Dominican Republic
U.S. manufacturer SolarWorld has supplied nearly 6,000 panels and racking for a 1.5 MW array at Cibao International Airport. The project is the largest in the Dominican Republic and one of the largest in Latin America.
