LDK Solar Co., Ltd. has signed a contract to supply solar modules to the Power Systems division of Italy-based ABB SpA (ABB), a subsidiary of ABB Group. Under the terms of the agreement, LDK Solar will deliver 13 megawatts (MW) of solar modules to ABB in the third quarter of this year.

Carmanah Technologies Corp. has been awarded a CAD$1.5 million contract by the Town of Markham, Ontario, Canada to supply, install, and commission a 250 kW solar photovoltaic grid-tie system. The system will be installed on the Town’s newly re-located Emergency Operation Centre.
