EU energy regulators call on Brussels to remove net metering and priority dispatch for new RES from Winter Package

ACER and CEER have asked the European Commission to take a more market-oriented approach for the Clean Energy Package 2020-2030. The two organizations called on Brussels to remove priority dispatch for existing renewables and to avoid net metering.

Armenia publishes tender for 55 MW solar project

All pre-qualified bidders are invited to submit project proposals by June 16. The project is part of 110 MW pipeline that the government is supporting through a recently created ad hoc commission.

Czech Republic provides incentives for solar-plus-storage

Albania to launch auction for over 50 MW of solar

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will help the Albanian government to set up an auction mechanism for large-scale PV plants. Between 50 MW and 100 MW will be allocated in the first auction.

Solar Systems LLC to build 100 MW PV plant in south-eastern Russia
