DEWA completes 200 MW phase II of 1 GW Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park

Construction on phase II of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is now finalized. The 200 MW unit of the 1 GW solar park came online a month ahead of schedule. DEWA revealed the plant was built at a cost of 1.2 billion AED ($326.7 million).

Groundbreaking to commence on 800 MW solar plant in Dubai

Construction of the mega 800 MW phase 3 of the Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum Solar Park is set to commence at the end of the month, after a consortium led by GranSolar was chosen as the EPC contractor on the project, which, once completed, will be the largest solar plant on a single plot.

ACWA Power to develop 61.3 MW in Jordan under record-low tariff

The Saudi Arabian power group and the Jordanian government have agreed to build the project in the eastern province of Risha by the first quarter of 2019.

DEWA confirms 200 MW solar project is 80% complete

The record-breaking second phase of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is now over 80% complete, with progress going well for the April 2017 completion target, as the park continues to grow with an eventual goal of being 5 GW in size.
