Storage case study: Bulgarian C&I project sets new deployment benchmark

In just 12 days, Sigenergy successfully installed and commissioned 20MWh of battery storage in Malko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Aside from modular design enabling this remarkably fast deployment, the project required neither cranes nor complex foundations, with the project’s owner, Galina Peycheva-Miteva, describing the process as “incredibly smooth — more like assembling building blocks than deploying industrial infrastructure.”

Join us as we dive into a case study of this Bulgarian project which has set a new benchmark for deployment speed and explore the technologies which made it possible. In the three years Sigenergy has been in the battery market, it has carved an outsized foothold, ousting long-established players to become, for instance, Australia’s top selling battery manufacturer in March and April 2025, according to analysis from Sunwiz. Popular Australian solar company PSC Energy attributed Sigenergy’s rapid ascent to one simple thing: “their product is different.”

Just as Sigenergy has stirred distributed energy storage markets, its recent Bulgarian project proves its technology is capable of similar disruptions in the tricker C&I segment. In this pv magazine Webinar, Jade Martyn, Sigenergy Africa’s Sales Director, will discuss the company’s commercial and industrial (C&I) battery solutions, how they have been used in Bulgaria, and what they can offer companies across the world.

As always, the webinar will include an interactive Q&A session where attendees will be able to pose specific questions to our speakers. Moderating this session is pv magazine’s Bella Peacock.

pv magazine webinar content:

• Case study of Sigenergy’s 20MWh Bulgarian project with Trakia MT Ltd.
• How its SigenStack technology allows for easy, rapid deployment
• SigenStack’s six-layered protection system and minimal O&M
