Although the U.S. and China have been placed at the top of the list in terms of overall renewable energy, the picture looks slightly different when one looks at the companys solar index.
In terms of solar photovoltaics, the U.S and Germany share the number one spot having been awarded 72 points, whilst India is placed second with 67 points, and China and Italy joint third with 66 points. Solar CSP, on the other hand, sees the U.S. once again at the top of the list with 75 points, with Spain and India coming second and third respectively with 67 and 63 points.
Ernst and Young say its attractiveness indices provide scores for national renewable energy markets, renewable energy infrastructure.
