The plant features coil-to-coil lacquering capabilities to produce weather-resistant aluminum surfaces for both reflective and absorptive outdoor solar applications: it adds to the company’s current surface production capabilities. Together, it says, these technologies enable it to produce its weatherproof solar surfaces entirely in-house.

“Alanod-Solar continues to add to its global capacity and innovative product portfolio with this… impressive new production facility," said Ingo Beyer, CEO of Alanod. "As a company, we believe in the solar market in the U.S. and have made substantial investments to ensure we can meet expected demand."

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the new facility were Mr. Beyer, Minister of Economic Affairs and ESTIF President Olivier Drücke.
