Canadian Solar records promising Q1 2012

Canadian Solar has posted comparatively positive first quarter (Q1) 2012 financial results. Overall, the photovoltaic module manufacturer expects its total solutions business to generate an increasing amount of revenues over the next two years.

China: Alex Solar to develop 1 GW PV project

Saudi Arabia targets 41 GW of solar by 2032

Positioning itself to become one of the largest solar markets globally, the governments King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KA-CARE) has announced Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plans to install 41 gigawatts (GW) worth of solar by 2032.
