Russian solar industry on verge of serious crisis

The Russian industry of solar energy is on the verge of serious crisis, due to economic crisis and devaluation of national currency – ruble, caused by sanctions, imposed on Russia.

The company currently has 15 projects totaling 488.5 MW under construction. It is also planning to gradually increase its percentage of distributed generation project construction in 2015. For the full year, JinkoSolar expects total solar module shipments of between 2.9 GW and 3.2 GW.
