SAEL Industries signs PPAs for 880 MW of solar projects in India

SAEL Industries has signed 25-year power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 480 MW of solar projects in Gujarat and 400 MW in Punjab. The projects, priced at INR 2.56 ($0.029)/kWh and INR 2.97/kWh respectively, are scheduled to begin operations within 24 months of signing.

Indian state utility THDCIL to supply 184 MW from variable-speed hydro plant

State-run THDC India Ltd (THDCIL) has signed a power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) to supply 184.08 MW from India’s first variable-speed pumped storage project (PSP) at Tehri, Uttarakhand. The project is designed to support grid flexibility and renewable energy integration.
