BayWa r.e. and Statkraft sign another power deal for subsidy free PV in Spain

Hanwha Q Cells expands Australian patent infringement lawsuit to include REC, BayWa r.e., Sol Distribution

The South Korean solar module maker has filed another claim with the Federal Court of Australia against Norwegian solar manufacturer REC Group, as well as PV distributors BayWa r.e. Solar Systems and Sol Distribution, for distributing products that allegedly infringe on its patents.

EnBW and Energiekontor ink PPA for subsidy-free PV plant in Germany

BayWa r.e. and Longi Solar ink global framework agreement

The deal marks the first time BayWa r.e. enters into a distribution agreement with a Chinese module manufacturer, according to a company statement. The deal has been described by the companies as a ‘win-win’ for both.

Enel breaks ground on 127 MW solar PV in Spain

The capacity comprises three 40 MW sites. These PV plants are the last of seven that Enel was awarded in Spain’s third renewable energy auction, in mid-2017. Meanwhile, BayWa r.e. is close to finishing its 175 MW grid parity project in southern Spain, outside of any auctions and FIT schemes.
