JinkoSolar plans 200 MW PV plant in China
20. December 2012 | Applications & Installations, Industry & Suppliers | By: Becky BeetzJinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with state-owned Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd, under which it will develop a 200 MW photovoltaic plant in China’s Jinchang, Gansu Province.
Around RMB 2 billion (US$320.9 million; €242.6 million) will be invested in the project, which has been approved by the Gansu Development and Reform Commission. It is scheduled to be completed and grid connected by next June.
"Jinchang receives large amounts of sunlight and has ample land resources, which make it very suitable for PV power plant development," commented Xiande Li, chairman of JinkoSolar.
No further details were released.
