Mr. Yuehe Zhang, general manager of Fine Silicon, highlighted a number of significant aspects of the polysilicon production, including:
- No chlorides or TCS are utilized in the manufacturing process, and the by-product sulfate is said to be easily treated; and
- No safety or environmental related incidents occurred during the construction and trial production period.
