Like the firm's previous 235-watt model, presented at Intersolar Europe in June, the KD240GH-2PB has two additional cross-struts on the back to enhance stability. The frame is also said to be stable, to help the module withstand heavy mechanical stresses. According to the company, the module has been certified by the TÜV for a load of 5,400 newtons per square meter and the junction boxes have high-quality soldered joints instead of clamps.
