During her visit to the company, Queen Beatrix will learn about innovations in the German photovoltaic industry. She will also meet with Saxony Minister President Stanislaw Tillich, Economics Minister Sven Morlok and Technology and Science Minister Sabine von Schorlemer.

An important part of the visit will be a question and answer round, of which the Royal guests will participate. It will be presided over by Solarwatt chairman, Frank Schneider, and the Political and Economic Ministers.

Schneider will also take the party around the company personally, where she will see the entire production process for solar modules, from start to finish. "For us, this visit is a great honor," he stated.

"The Queen wants to be informed about how Saxony has developed since the German-German reunification. For that our company is a prime example: Solarwatt represents many innovative advanced technological undertakings, which took place during that period of time and today function very successfully."

The visit is part of the Royal Family’s trip round the capital of the Saxony state of Dresden.
