It can enable solar power to be consumed in the evening and at night. A prototype of the new energy storage system for private households, based on lithium-ion technology, is to be presented at Intersolar.

Conergy is also offering a new central inverter, the IPG 350 C. It is described as transformerless, fulfilling all the requirements of the medium-voltage directive, and achieving a nominal AC power of 350 kilowatts. The IPG 350 C is said to have an efficiency of up to 98.7 percent.
