A Centrosolar spokesperson told pv magazine, "In the first phase, we will ramp up to a capacity of 350 MWp. We are currently at 300 MWp, and will have reached the full capacity by the end of the year. With the new factory building we could even reach a total capacity of 500 MWp. Depending on the development of demand in Europe we expect to scale to this level within the next 2 years."

When fully utilized (150 MWp capacity), the new factory will also employ approximately 300 employees.
