Berlin-based Solon has already sold its 1.5 MW system, which is located in the northern Italian province of Udine, to EAM.

While the full details have not been disclosed, the company has said that EAM will also buy a second system from it. At 3.1 MW, it is located 10 kilometers away from the first.

Under the terms of the sale, Solon will service and maintain both systems for a period of five years.

While the German company oversaw the planning, installation and management for the projects, Solar 3 secured and prepared the sites for construction.

According to a statement released, both photovoltaic systems have been grid connected and will receive a feed-in tariff under Italy’s second Conto Energia.
