Gonghe County Tianhua New Energy Power Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Sky Solar, developed the 591 million Yuan (around US$94.5 million; 72.4 million) project, which is located in Gonghe County Photovoltaic Industrial Park.
"With an abundance of natural solar energy resources, Qinghai province has attracted many domestic energy companies Coupled with Chinas current feed-in-tariff levels, Qinghais PV industry is entering the fast lane, enabling grid connection and transmission of the worlds largest centralized PV power station," said Sky Solar in a statement released.
