he PV.800 is a new member of the Protect PV solar inverter family which includes the PV.250, PV.500 and PV.630 in various indoor and outdoor configurations. The PV.800 is able to support up to 1,300 kWp which extends AEG PS’s existing range of products for multi-megawatt utility-scale PV systems. Grid stability issues have been taken into consideration with the design of the Protect PV.800. The new inverter offers improved features for grid connection such as stabilizing reactive power input in case of load peaks. Fault Ride Through capabilities are configurable for voltages and current, and innovative field programming solution allows for specific customization for all grid codes. The Protect PV.800 is compliant with all relevant national standards and guidelines. As with previous versions it can also be integrated in the turnkey container solution, the TKS-C 1600 enabling a total nominal AC output of 1,600 kVA and connection to a DC generating capacity of up to 2,600 kWp.
