Skylar to develop 180 MW PV Nevada plant

The 180 MW shovel-ready Townsite project was initially developed by KOWEPO Americas in Boulder City. It is said to have secured all the relevant permits and is eligible for the 30% ITC, which is set to expire this December 31.

Skylar has said it is currently in discussion with several unnamed developers and EPC firms for the project’s construction. The company has already secured a 25 year PPA with Glendale (CA) Water & Power. It further plans to "use offtake power from the Townsite project to serve the municipal utility."

Details were not disclosed on when construction may begin or end.
