The announcement was given by the Chinese module maker in its financial statement for the first quarter of the year. The company also stated it shipped 5.35 GW of PV products in the period from January to March and that its revenue and profits declined by 6.4% and 21.7% year-on-year, respectively.

According to a new study from a German-Swedish research group, conventional incentives such as renewable portfolio standards, feed-in tariffs or feed-in premium payments may likely lead to a price cannibalisation scenario for wind and solar. CO2 pricing, instead, is considered an efficient tool to maintain their market value high enough to ensure new investments. However, a total system cost approach, rather than an LCOE perspective, is needed to understand the strong dependence of market value on policy choice.
New three-phase hybrid inverter series from Sunways
The new hybrid inverter series has an efficiency of up to 98.2% and a European efficiency of up to 97.4%. The device offers multiple connections with a maximum of 10 units in parallel to expand the AC output power.

Swiss researchers sought for the first time to replace phenylethylammonium (PEA) with benzodithiophene (BDT) in cations for perovskite cells. The latter showed improved stability and ensured a power conversion efficiency that was 1% higher than that of its counterpart.
