German startup Suena secures cash for its battery energy trading technolgy business

The Hamburg-based battery energy trading software and services company has raised €3 million ($3.27 million) seed funding to expand its software-driven trading services across Europe. The capital will be used to introduce its software, dubbed Autopilot, and its trading services to new European markets.

Northvolt battery factory accidents kill 2 people, injure 1 in Sweden

Two workers have died in separate accidents at Northvolt’s battery gigafactory in Sweden in recent weeks, with a technician succumbing to burns after an explosion on a production line and a construction worker killed by a falling fork stand. pv magazine has learned that the equipment that caught fire was not a part of the battery manufacturing process.
