China’s Redway Power has developed a new lithium iron phosphate battery system with a nominal voltage of 12.8 V and a nominal capacity of 200 Ah.

French researchers have identified a number of potential social issues that may arise as North Africa develops its significant hydrogen potential, while the European Commission has released the details of its pilot auction for European renewable hydrogen production.

The new product can reportedly provide a leaving water temperature of up to 65 C. It is available in three versions with outputs of 8 kW, 10 kW, and 12 kW, respectively.

The new batteries reportedly provide steady operation for up to 16,000 charge cycles. It has a storage capacity of 5.4 kWh and a depth of discharge of 90%.

Energy Storage Industries is delivering 1 MW/10 MWh of flow battery storage to the Stanwell Power Station in the Australian state of Queensland. The flow batteries are part of a new government-run clean energy testing “hub,” featuring hydrogen and additional workforce training programs.
