Enphase, Domos Industries launch energy management system in France

U.S. microinverter supplier Enphase has teamed up with France’s Domos Industries to develop and release a PV system and energy management tool to the French market. The package is known as Freewatt and the company’s report it has been optimized for self consumption.

Analysis: France’s island solar+storage program presents EUR100 million opportunity

France’s tender for 25 -50 MW of solar+storage projects on France’s islands and island territories will result in a market of around €100 million (US$112 million). Consultants THEnergy delivered its analysis today, concluding that it is likely more than 50 MWh of storage projects will be developed under the program.

The Scottish Government has launched a consultation, which aims to remove planning permission for commercial solar rooftop projects. Unlike in England, no cap is expected to be placed on installation size. The move could prompt the English government to re-analyze its decision.

Trina confirms 2 GW Indian fab plans
