95.5 MW of PV capacity for June in Germany

In June this year, the German Federal Network Agency registered a rather low 95.5 MW of PV capacity, depicting the same story as in the last months. Of that, 56.8 MW came into operation.

India: Telangana gets lowest bid

Another low bid of INR5.17 (US$0.08) per kWh has been quoted by SkyPower in the Telangana solar tender. The financial bids for some 2,000MW opened yesterday in the southern Indian state.

Israel: 40MW Ketura plant connected to grid

The Ketura Solar PV plant in the south of the Arava Valley in Israel has been connected to the grid. The 40MW project was developed by Israeli solar company Arava Power and EDF Énergies Nouvelles Israel, a subsidiary of the French national electric corporation, EDF.

Japan: GE to supply the Hosoe project

General Electric, better known as GE, will be supplying the 96.2MW Hosoe PV plant in Kyushu island, Japan, with power solutions. The company has crafted a solution package for smooth running of such MW projects.
