Enphase sees losses increase in first quarter
The U.S. microinverter manufacturer reported a lower than expected revenue in the latest quarter, with shipments decreasing slightly year-on-year. The company, however, was able to strenghten its cash position after implementing a restructuring plan in the previous quarters.

The Italian solar developer saw its turnover and profits decline slightly last year. The company acquired Italian solar inverter manufacturer Elettronica Santerno in late 2016.
Huawei and BayWa r.e. partner up on procurement contract
German solar developer BayWa r.e. has signed a Global Procurement Framework Contract with Chinese technology company Huawei, for the supply of an initial target volume of 400 MW of Huawei’s inverters, as Huawei continues its expansion into various international markets.
