Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL) says its new 300 MW solar project in the Indian state of Rajasthan uses domestic tech under the nation’s domestic content requirement (DCR).
NHPC Ltd, on behalf of Bundelkhand Saur Urja Ltd (BSUL), has launched a tender to select developers to build 1.2 GW of solar power plants (four × 300 MW) in northern India.
NHPC Ltd. has issued a tender for 1,200 MW of grid-connected solar projects with 600 MW/2.4 GWh of energy storage, offering an additional 1,200 MW under a Greenshoe option. Bidding closes on April 24.
The generation capacity – three 450 MWp projects in the state of Rajasthan – is expected to be commissioned towards early 2022.
India’s power generation company National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) is presently installing 50 MW of Solar in Tamil Nadu State and is expected to add 200 MW by 2019.
