EDF Energies Nouvelles completes 56 MW PV project in France

The project was first announced in 2010. Over the course of two years, EDF EN France developed, built and commissioned the plant, which comprises around 700,000 First Solar thin film photovoltaic modules. It is expected to generate enough energy to supply 26,000 people.

No further details were released and the company could not be reached for comment.
