LDK Solar completes Century rooftop PV project in Italy

Overall, the project is comprised of several rooftop photovoltaic systems ranging between 300 kW and one MW in size.

According to a statement released, around 7.8 MW have been completed and LDK provided 40% of the required financing. Meanwhile, the project is expected to receive tariffs under Italy’s fourth Conto Energia. No further details were released.

"We are pleased to expand our presence in Italy’s solar market through this project. The completion of these projects demonstrates the existing demand for solar power in Italy and we look forward to continuing to broaden our relationships in this region," stated Xingxue Tong, President and CEO of LDK Solar.
