L&T Construction has commissioned a 40 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic power plant in Dhursar Village, Rajasthan, India. It is owned by Reliance Power Limited.

Fraunhofer develops software for renewable-energy forecasting

German commercial research body and transmission grid operator develops software to accumulate renewable energy production data and produce more accurate forecasts. The software developed by the team in Ilmenau in central Germany, can also provide day-ahead forecasts that are updated every 15 minutes.

Germany: Micro smart grid concluded in Berlin

Schneider Electric has collaborated with the Innovation Center for Mobility and Social Change (InnoZ) to complete a micro smart grid at the EUREF-Campus in Germany’s capital city.
