Indian tender for supply of 12 million solar cells

Court stops tree clearance for Tesla’s proposed Berlin gigafactory

The High Administrative Court of the Brandenburg region temporarily stopped preparatory work at the site in Grünheide, near Berlin at the weekend. A final decision from the local administration is expected “in a timely manner”.

Mongolia kicks off solar-plus-storage tender

The 5 MW Uliastai solar-plus-storage project will be located in the city of the same name in the western part of the country, around 1,100km from Ulaanbaatar. The facility is part of a plan to deploy 40 MW of solar and wind generation linked to energy storage in the nation’s western and Altai-Uliastai regions.

Greece to install 3 GW of solar in mining regions

Greece has announced plans to install two PV projects at mining sites. The facilities are part of the national utility’s new strategy and in line with the country’s efforts to phase out coal.
