The array, located at Ikeas distribution center in Tejon, is spread across 216,000 square-feet and consists of 7,980 REC photovoltaic panels. It is expected to generate 2.8 million kilowatt hours of power annually.
The Swedish home furnishings retailer already has photovoltaic systems installed at three stores, and there are another ten currently under construction.
