Schott receives 16 MW Thai order

The German solar company has said it will deliver the 67,000 polycrystalline modules for use in two photovoltaic power plants, worth 9.7 and 6.2 MW, between this June and September.

According to Schott, the projects, located north of Bangkok, will be completed by December and will generate enough energy for around 10,000 Thai households. They have been under construction since June.

Phoenix Solar Singapore is responsible for planning the installations, while Solarta Co. Ltd – a joint venture between Yanhee Solar Power Co Ltd and independent power supplier Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PLC – is the investor.
