The module giant has been chosen as the main supplier for the solar farm at the former Preschen airfield military facility at Jocksdorf and is supplying more than 252,000 modules, each with an average output of more than 240 Wp.

The Green Tower project will cover more than a kilometer and provide enough clean energy to power 17,000 households.

"Selecting Trina Solar as our main module provider was a very good choice," said Alfred Behrens, CEO at AB Unternehmensberatung & Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, who initiated the Green Tower project.

"Because construction advanced well ahead of schedule, we ordered an additional 5.5 MW of modules, which Trina Solar was able to provide and deliver to the site in just three days."
