According to Fraunhofer ISE experts, PV’s Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) currently ranges between €0.0371 and €0.1154 per kWh in Germany. The potential for further cost reductions is vast, the researchers add.

Acciona breaks ground on 186 MW of solar in Egypt

Cox Energy secures PPA for 660 MW of solar in Spain and Portugal

The power purchase agreement (PPA) relates to large-scale PV projects planned to be operational by 2020. Peru to hold new auction for solar and renewables in 2H of 2018 – Interview

In an interview with pv magazine, the president of the Peruvian Society of Renewable Energies, Juan Coronado, discusses the auction for solar and renewables, which the government is obliged to hold this year, and the different options large-solar has to resume its development in the Andean country. According to him, when the obstacles that are currently impeding private PPAs are eliminated, utility-scale PV projects could be conceived outside of the auction mechanism.
