Mitsubishi HC Capital acquires 20% stake in European Energy A/S

Mitsubishi HC Capital, a Japanese investment firm, has become the second-largest shareholder in Danish renewable energy developer European Energy A/S by acquiring the equivalent of 75 million shares. Knud Erik Andersen, the CEO of European Energy, says the transaction more than triples the company’s equity.

Mitsubishi to supply 150 MW/600 MWh storage for US solar projects

Mitsubishi Power Americas will supply batteries for the development of three battery energy storage systems in the southeast US. The three hybrid projects are being developed by Origis Energy as part of 1.5 GW of operational and contracted assets in the region.

Mitsubishi has released a cascaded air source heat pump that can produce between 7.8 kW and 640 kW of heat. It is reportedly able to generate hot water at a temperature of up to 70 C without boost heaters.
