Chinese PV manufacturer Trina Solar has wrapped up module deliveries for the 10.97 MW ground-mounted PV plant at the North Norfolk Business Centre. Under the terms of the agreement, Trina is commissioned to equip the project with 43,208 250W-, 255W-, and 260W-rated PC05A Honey modules. Oskomera has started the construction of the facility on behalf of Hazel Capital in August and expects to complete the project by November 2013.

In the last few months, Trina Solar has been busy expanding its footprint in the UK. Before the announcement of its collaboration with Oskomera, Trina Solar was involved in the development of three solar projects totaling over 40 MW in UK so far this year. Among them are a 7 MW PV plant in Oxfordshire, a 33 MW solar installation in Wymeswold and three large-scale PV plants located in southern UK.

Trina Solar UK sales manager Richard Rushin expressed an optimistic outlook about the future of solar industry in UK. He believes that the number of large-scale PV installations could considerably increase in the over the next few years. "The modules that we have offered to the project have significantly exceeded the international standards, and we are looking forward to a further cooperation with Oskomera," he added.
