Construction on the plant began last November and it was connected to the grid on April 29. Overall, the system is comprised of 17,000 solar modules, which are estimated to produce approximately 5.7 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
The plant was built under a contract with the Kokusai-Geosol Group. In total, the two companies have completed three photovoltaic projects, located in Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
