Kostal signs 15 MW inverter supply deal in Turkey

Kostal Solar Electric has today confirmed that is has signed a supply contract with a Turkish solar developer for the delivery of 15 MW of solar inverters.

The Turkish branch of Kostal, which is a German-headquartered firm based in Freiburg, will realize its supply order within one year, the company confirmed.

The company’s Piko solar inverters will be shipped to various solar PV projects being overseen by local developer and EPC, CW Enerji, which already has a 50 MW portfolio of completed PV plants under its belt in Turkey.

"We strongly believe in the potential of the Turkish solar market," said Kostal Turkey country manager Konstantinos Floros. "It is our strategy to work with a few selected and trusted partners in order to protect our brand name, and CW Enerji is one of them."
