GCL New Energy, Singyes Solar announce far-reaching partnership

China's Singyes Solar, GCL-Poly and subsidiary GCL New Energy have signed a three-year cooperation agreement covering upstream and downstream activities, including the development, construction and operation of PV plants.

The new far-reaching partnership includes distributed PV facilities, ground-mounted plants, manufacturing PV material supply chain, project engineering, PV project asset cooperation and smart micro-grid projects.

As part of the deal, Singyes Solar and GCL New Energy will cooperate mainly on distributed generation projects next year with a combined target of at least 500 MW, the companies said in a notice to the Hong Kong stock exchange.
