The U.K.-based solar developer wants to identify potential buyers for the electricity generated by the facilities through competitive bidding.

The SFOne tracker is designed for modules with 72 and 78-cell designs. According to Soltec, it reduces the time spent in its installation by 75% and will be available in all markets where the company operates.

Macquarie Asset Management announced a €90 million debt investment on Monday in a portfolio of concentrated solar power plants in southern Spain.

An international team of scientists fabricated perovskite solar cells which retained almost all of their initial 21% efficiency after 1,000 hours under continuous operation at their maximum power point. The researchers credit this performance to their discovery of an additive that served to ‘block’ ions that cause device degradation, and also hope their work will contribute to an improved understanding of the relationship between efficiency and stability in perovskite PV.
