The 6.2 MWp solar carport at Tata Motors’ manufacturing facility in Maharashtra spans over 30,000 square meters.
The “Gismo Power” solar carport is entirely mobile, can be connected to the grid, and can be folded for storage.
A new 17 MW solar array is expected to cover around 17% of the theme park’s electricity needs. Completion is scheduled for 2023.
The first Horizon folding rooftop has been installed above a parking lot in Switzerland, where it will generate power for on-site consumption, including EV charging.
The 20 MW plant will feature 62,750 solar panels. Installer Perpetum Energy plans to commission the project in the spring of 2020.
To date, 50 MW of net-metered solar power arrays have been connected to the grid in the Emirates. One of the latest is a 2 MW PV carport at the headquarters of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) building.
