Disneyland Paris completes 36 MW solar carport

Urbasolar has commissioned the last section of a 36.1 MW solar carport at Disneyland Paris. The facility, which covers 20 hectares of parking space, will sell all of the electricity, with no self-consumption.

French winery combines solar carports with EV recharging

France announces new FIT rates for PV systems up to 500 kW

France’s new feed-in tariffs (FITs) for the period from May to July 2024 range from €0.1735 ($0.1850)/kWh for installations below 3 kW to €0.1141/kWh for arrays ranging in size from 100 kW to 500 kW.

French PV module maker Systovi goes into liquidation

Systovi has gone into liquidation, as the commercial court in Nantes, France, has issued an order to do so, citing the solar panel manufacturer’s failure to find new investors, despite its 80 MW of panel manufacturing capacity.
