Enphase Energy, a California-based microinverter specialist, says its new power control system will give North American customers that use its energy systems more flexibility to build larger projects.

Chinese manufacturer TSUN says its Titan series of microinverters can handle 15 A of continuous input DC current. They also feature a 97.2% efficiency and four maximum power point tracking (MPPT) channels.

Enphase reports that both the IQ8HC and IQ8X are designed to pair with a full range of solar modules up to 540 W.

SAJ’s new M2 microinverters support PV panels ranging in size from 400 W to 700 W. They have a maximum output of 2,250 VA, with four maximum power point tracking (MPPT) channels. The company claims a peak efficiency of 97%.

Chinese manufacturer Vaysunic New Energy has developed eight versions of its VM microinverters. Their AC output power ranges from 600 W to 1,000 W.

Fenice Energy, formerly SunEdison, has developed single-phase and three-phase microinverters for residential and commercial solar installations. The microinverters support up to 670 Wp+ PV modules, with a maximum input current of 20 A.

Hoymiles has developed new hybrid inverters for residential solar and storage applications. They support 120 V/240 V backup power without the need for an external transformer.

TSUN’s new microinverter line has an input current of up to 16 A and an efficiency rating of up to 96.7%. It claims that the microinverters are particularly suitable for complex installation environments.

Microinverter supplier Enphase is slipping in share price as revenues dip. It has announced a $1 billion stock buyback program.

Sofar, a China-based inverter and battery manufacturer, has introduced a new series of microinverters for balcony solar arrays and rooftop PV systems. They have a 97.5% efficiency rating and offer between 500 VA and 2,400 VA of rated power.
