India’s GUVNL allocates 500 MW hybrid wind-solar at $0.040/kWh

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) has awarded 500 MW of hybrid solar-wind projects at an average rate of INR 3.36 ($0.040)/kWh. The winning developers will install grid-connected projects on a build-own-operate basis, with the freedom to choose any location in India.

New research identifies advantages of thermoplastic polyolefin encapsulants in dual-glass solar modules

Austrian researchers performed tests on thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) encapsulant as an alternative to conventional ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer and polyolefin elastomers (POE) to assess its use in glass-glass modules.
